Smoothies are our go-to breakfast and post-workout snack, and we love mixing it up with new ingredients. That’s the beauty of smoothies — you can mix and match all your favorites depending on what you’re in the mood for. We love to add different nut milks, fruits, veggies, seeds, and spices. Today we’re sharing three of our recent fave smoothie mix-ins. Toss these in your morning creations and you’ll feel extra energized and satisfied all day. Plus, they’re super slimming to help you reach your summer fit goals!
1. Cauliflower: This is our new favorite — it will transform your smoothies. Cauliflower gives smoothies an amazing creamy texture, similar to bananas. And you can’t even taste it! Plus, cauliflower is packed with vitamin C, and it helps keep your blood sugar levels steady so your energy doesn’t spike and crash. Most grocery stores offer pre-riced cauliflower in the frozen aisle, which is super simple, but you can use fresh cauliflower too.

2. Tone It Up Protein: Giving your body high-quality protein is one of the best things you can do to feel lean, strong, and glowing. This powerhouse macronutrient helps you form beautiful lean muscles, speeds up your metabolism, and keeps you feeling satisfied. That’s why we always have protein within 30 minutes after a workout, and a smoothie is the perfect way to get that protein in.
3. Ginger: Ginger adds a zesty kick to your smoothies that you’ll love. It also helps stimulate your metabolism and reduces inflammation in your body. We like to combine ginger with tropical flavors like pineapple, mango, and coconut.
Our Pineapple Princess Smoothie is delicious and will give you tropical island vibes, perfect for summer.
