5 Apps to Help You Chill Out This Inauguration Weekend

Ooooofff, it’s been a WEEK. For those in need of some unwinding time this weekend, we’ve got you covered. And so has your phone. This week, we’ve got five brand-new apps to help you unwind and take a bit of stress out of your life. Whether you just want to revert back to childhood, take your stress out through exercise or just listen to some music, these five apps will get you there. Now please excuse us as we drop off the grid until Monday.

1. Color by Disney: For those in need of a stress-buster this weekend, revert back to childhood with this coloring app from Disney (made for adults). Although it may seem super simple, just wait until you see all the tricked-out effects seven-year-old you could not have handled.

2. Handstand: Get up and off the couch with this app that links you with nearby personal trainers. Select the type of workout you’re looking to do (yoga, kickboxing, weights) and where you want to do it (home, park, gym) and then get ready to meet your fitness match.

3. Gane: This app is basically like Venmo, but way smarter. It allows you to analyze your spending, pay the stores you shop at often, check out offers happening at shops around you and, of course, send money to your pals.

4. Vertigo: If you’ve always had dreams of being a DJ, now’s your chance. This app lets you import your Spotify playlists and broadcast (with commentary) to followers and friends. It’s the best way to tell everybody about that new song you can’t stop listening to or chat about music with faraway friends.

5. Tidings: Send a literal message in a bottle to anybody in the world with this brand-new app. It’s way waaaaay better than any traditional old birthday card and makes your message extra special.
