Alexis Bledel Reveals Juicy Details About Rory Gilmore’s Love Life

Despite the fact that we’ve known about the Gilmore Girls reboot for months (yay!) and still have a few more months to wait until we finally get to return to Stars Hollow (*weeps*), the steady stream of updates from the cast and crew have kept us more than happy. And now that the first trailer for the new Gilmore Girls episodes has been released, we’re even more curious about what our fave characters are up to these days. With news that one of Rory’s ex-boyfriends would definitely be returning to the show, we needed to know what was up with the younger GG’s love life. Now, we have the deets from Alexis Bledel, who plays the role of the book-lovin’, always-has-her-head-on-straight Rory Gilmore.

“I think it’s kind of interesting that that’s what people are excited about,” Alexis Bledel said while talking on a panel for the Television Critics Association about the upcoming reboot, according to TVline. Referring to the fact that peeps are obviously asking about the character’s relationship status, Alexis added, “There is so much more to her character. It’s great when people focus on her ambition and her accomplishments.” Granted, we can’t wait to learn all about Rory’s career and her relationship with her mom and family, but… we also want to know about who she’s loving or not loving these days.

Thankfully, Alexis indulged us in some insider info, despite perhaps not quite understanding why we’re so interested. “All of her exes make an appearance,” she revealed. Wait! All of them return?! Woo! “It was great to work with all of them,” Alexis continued, referring to Jess (Milo Ventimiglia), Dean (Jared Padalecki) and Logan (Matt Czuchry).

So who is Rory with? Is she engaged? Will we get to see a wedding? Is she happy? “People’s questions are answered,” Alexis assured us, then teased, “but we can’t answer them today.”

Indeed, we’ll have to wait until November 25 to see all four 90-minute episodes that will span four seasons in one year in the life of our favorite Stars Hollow residents.

What do you think Rory’s relationship status should be? Who do you think she’s meant to end up with (if she’s meant to end up with anyone)? Tweet us @BritandCo!
