We knew when the Apple Watch was announced that there would be an avalanche of new accessories following it all the way to the bank, but one of these really stood out among the pack. Rest’s “Composure” Dock looks more like a display block than a charger, like the case where you browse all the watches at the department store or the little tray you would use to keep your regular watch and jewelry. We just have one question — can Rest please make a dock for our phones too?
This new inductive Apple Watch charger is made to be easy and beautiful, using the MagSafe charger device and transforming it into a more lovely and user-friendly dock made of walnut and steel. You simply hold the watch near the charger and it’ll snap into place and begin charging right away. Composure is made in America (yay!) and features a walnut top, weighted foundation and hidden internal wire tracks for your charger cables. It’s the perfect size for a desk or night table, so you won’t have to fumble around with your cords every time you’re running low on juice.
The product is expected to retail for $94, but right now you can pre-order it for $79 (it will ship within 45 days of the first Apple Watch shipments). We’re excited to see this one in person and we can’t wait for this company to start making docks for more devices.
