Beauty Confession: This Lipgloss Is a Game-Changer for My Hair

It’s that time again! I have a weird beauty move, and I can’t not share it with you. We all know my obsession with blow drying my eyelashes and the weirdest hairbrush ever, but this is on a whole new level of weird. I accidentally put lip gloss in my hair one day, and it just felt right. Now, it’s one of my go-to styling products. Weird?! I know! Listen, this isn’t just any lipgloss — it’s coconut oil-infused lipgloss. Here’s how it works and why I’m officially obsessed.

The Game-Changing Lip Gloss

Enter The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder Cocobalm ($22), a bomb new lipgloss that’s designed to treat and tint your lips. The scent, texture and color of these little dudes are incredible. What’s more, they totally double as a hair styling agent that also makes the ends of your tresses feel like they’ve been treated with a serum.

How It Works

I just took a little of the gloss and used it to smooth and piece together the ends of my hair. The pigment in this gloss won’t change your hair color one bit. BTW — peep that color on my lips! So pretty, right?

Before + After Lip Gloss

As you can see, my hair is tamer and has a smooth sheen, which also feels really good to the touch. This literally feels like a treatment meant for my hair.

I feel complete now that I’ve passed this weird bit of information your way. It’s these little hacks that make me smile. Any time I can use one thing for dual purposes, I feel like I’ve cheated the system. Hope you enjoy!
