Beauty Editor Approved: The 2 Bronzers We Can’t Live Without

With summer in full swing, Misty and I are allll about bronzers that boost beauty routines. Beyond bronzers, I personally am obsessed with anything that will give me a summer glow ASAP because I am sadly pretty (aka VERY) pale right now. Bronzers are tough, though — it’s not easy to find the perfect balance of a matte finish and a shimmery one, and if you choose a hue that’s just a touch too dark, you run the risk of looking kinda dirty. That said, when you find the *right* bronzer for you, it’s transformative. Here are two fool-proof bronzers Misty and I swear by.

MY FAVORITE BRONZER

My favorite bronzer is NARS Bronzing Powder ($39) in Laguna. This cult classic product is the perfect shade of brown, with just the right amount of subtle gold shimmer to give you a healthy glow. Even when it’s the middle of the winter — when I am def lacking that bronzed, summer look I’m always after — this stuff looks great. You can lightly sweep it onto your face for a bit of color or layer it on for more intensity. It also works well as a way to contour and define your features. I even apply this product to my eyes when I’m doing a five-minute makeup routine — it’s a quick way to pull my whole look together.

MISTY’S FAVORITE BRONZER

Benefit Cosmetics Dallas Box o’ Powder Blush ($29) is great because it’s like a blush and a bronzer had a baby!  It works well for a natural finish and you can use it as a bronzer and blush. It’s super great for an everyday, go-to product that looks beautiful on everyone. Seriously, I use this product on almost all of the clients whose makeup I do professionally — it’s the best. I also sweep it over the eyes sometimes. Keep in mind that it has no shimmer, so if you want a bit of a glow, just add a dope highlighter!”
