Wood Burning FTW: See How 400 B+C Readers Got Their DIY On

Here at Brit + Co, we have a lovely little thing called the Co-Op—a community of friends, B+C readers, makers and creatives that host Par-DIYs a few times a year. Basically, it’s besties getting creative, so yeah… it’s pretty rad.

After a stellar party in March, we couldn’t wait for the next DIY opportunity. For the month of April, we teamed up with Triscuit and sent kits to make personalized wood serving boards to members of our Co-Op. The kits included a wood serving board, wood burning tool and bit attachments. Our hostesses whipped up some delicious Triscuit appetizers, and then everyone got to DIY-ing!

Did you miss April’s Co-Op party? Snag your own wood burning kit in the B+C Shop.

Ready, set… DIY! Our Co-Op party hostesses received their kits, grabbed their pals and began to burn, burn, burn! With the arrival of spring, several held their parties outside or poolside. Um… jealous!

Co-Opers also whipped up delicious Triscuit snacks and appetizers at their Par-DIYs. Looks like things got fancy!

What made this Par-DIY so awesome? Well, everyone got to personalize a wood serving board, and everyone knows what those are good for, right? Hosting future parties! This is the DIY party that keeps on going.

With the different wood burning bits, the design possibilities are endless. The same goes for Triscuit appetizers… there’s no stopping the food combos you can make with just three ingredients.

We loved seeing all of the different designs that these creative folks came up with. We especially loved scrolling through the #iamcreative hashtag on Instagram.

All in all, the parties were a HUGE success, and everyone left with a personalized wood serving board. Thank you to our wonderful Co-Op hostesses for going above and beyond in your hostess duties AND special thanks to Triscuit for supplying the ultimate Par-DIY!
