Guacamole for One

Ingredients:

— 1 avocado

— a wedge of lime

— salt and pepper to season

Tools:

— small sharp knife

— fork

Instructions:

1. With a sharp knife, cut your avocado in half lengthwise. Twist the two halves away from each other to separate. Remove the pit if you’re using both halves right away.

2. Using your knife, slice into the avocado lengthwise and across. Be sure to not cut too deep; you don’t want to puncture the shell!

3. With a fork, mash the avocado in the shell until its mostly smooth but still a bit chunky.

4. Season with a few squeezes of lime and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. You’re ready to dig in!

Slice the avocado in half lengthwise and twist to separate.

Gently score the avocado in a criss-cross grid pattern, then mash away with a fork.

Time to season it with lime juice and a little S + P to taste. A perfect snack for one… now grab some chips and dig in!
