Last week we unveiled our brand new shop, and as part of it, our very own series of e-classes! We’ve teamed up with the best and brightest makers we know to bring you the ultimate DIY summer school experience.
We know that your time is precious, so we’ve designed all of these classes to take you from beginner to pro in under an hour. We’ve also made it super easy to get all the supplies you’ll need for class — you can snag kits for each in our shop.
To start things off, we have four classes available, with more on their way soon. From calligraphy to flower arranging, let’s take an in-depth look at each one:
Calligraphy for Everyone
Calligraphy For Everyone: All-star Lauren Essl of Blue Eye Brown Eye Calligraphy covers the basics of numbers, upper and lower case letters in this course clocking in at 40 minutes. At the end of the class, you’ll have six hand-lettered greeting cards of your very own creation! Get the kit here.
Cake Baking 101
Cake Baking 101: We’ve definitely baked a creative cake or two here at Brit HQ! Are you ready to make your own? Sweet Style CA owner and cake master, Tessa Huff, will show you how to take on a three-layer cake topped with some seriously rad fondant decor in this 35-minute course. Get the kit here.
Flower Arranging Made Easy
Flower Arranging Made Easy: This class is a double-threat! Christina Stembel and Rhiannon Smith of Farmgirl Flowers show you how to make a hand-tied bouquet and THEN will teach you how to turn that bouquet into a centerpiece that will have all your guests talking. Double the project fun in this 25-minute course. Get the kit here.
Let’s Par-DIY: Ready to take your party decor to the next DIY level? Jesi Haack, wedding and event designer extraordinaire (and design collaborator of my very own wedding a few years back!) from Jesi Haack Designs will show you how to make five DIY staples for your next event in this 25-minute course. Get the kit here.
Not sure which class to tackle first? Check out these trailers we put together to help you decide. Seriously, these DIYers have some mad skills (and you can too!).
Are you a DIY pro itching to share your skills with the Brit + Co. community? We’re on the hunt for more master makers to teach our e-courses. Drop us a line and tell us more about what you want to teach and why!
