Gwyneth Paltrow Has Something Shocking (Yet Weirdly Relatable) to Say About Goop

Gwyneth Paltrow’s relationship with Goop hasn’t always been clear, with the celeb at times claiming that she intends to separate herself from the brand before revealing that she’s teaming up with one of the industry’s biggest names to take her publication to the next level. But through it all, Paltrow always seems to be behind every hint of Goop. That’s why her latest confession about the site is both shocking and weirdly relatable.

“I don’t know what the f*ck we talk about,” she admitted last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Granted, she’s not alone, with Goop liberally using terms like “yoni,” “spirit truffles,” and “vaginal steaming.” *shrugs*

Specifically, when asked about “Earthing,” Paltrow explained, “One of the things we like to do on Goop is find what the alternative world says about feeling good in the modern day world… they say that we’ve lost touch with being barefoot in the Earth and there’s some type of electromagnetic thing that we’re missing, so it’s good to take your shoes off and walk in the grass.” Okay, that doesn’t sound too weird and actually seems kinda nice (who doesn’t love to walk in the grass with bare feet? As long as there’s not dog poop in the area).

However, Paltrow admitted that, frankly, she doesn’t “actually know that much about Earthing.” And that’s when she laughed and threw in, “I don’t know what the f*ck we talk about.” Paltrow may not be in the loop, but let’s hope *someone* behind the scenes does in fact know what “the f*ck” they’re talking about, considering it’s not only a “modern lifestyle brand,” but also claims to offer “cutting-edge wellness advice.”

This is probably a good time to remember that you should consult a medical professional before relying on any serious health advice from a celebrity.
