So THIS Is How Miranda Lambert Got Those Flirty Curls in Her “We Should Be Friends” Music Video

Miranda Lambert made waves (pardon the pun — we couldn’t help ourselves!) in the music video for her latest single, “We Should Be Friends.” The premise of the video is Miranda showing up at the beauty salon in need of a makeover, and the helpful folks there primp and pamper her ’til she’s refreshed. Her bombshell hairstyle at the end of the video comes courtesy of celebrity stylist Johnny Lavoy, who’s spilling the deets on how to get the look at home.

“I wanted to create a fun, sexy feel, so I felt out her ends to really get that textured look,” Johnny said. Turns out, all you need is this super cool holographic curling iron! That’s right, not only is holographic makeup a thing, but now the trend has spread into our hair must-haves.

Johnny used PRO Beauty Tools Professional 1875 W Ionic AC Motor ($40) to dry Miranda’s hair and then curled it using PRO Beauty Tools Professional Iridescent Curling Iron ($29), alternating directions from section to section.

This hot tool might just be too pretty to hide away in your vanity. Might we suggest keeping it front and center in your bathroom on this holographic tray?
