How to Stay in Julianne Hough’s Great Shape by Eating Pizza

Although Julianne Hough’s attention may be focused on her upcoming wedding, she still took some time out to let us in on the food that keeps her fit while also satisfying her cravings. The 28-year-old obviously stays in incredible shape with the help of her pro dancing, but she also benefits from a clean and totally yummy diet. Not convinced it could possibly be delish? It includes pizza. *mic (or pizza cutter) drop*

Keeping things (mostly) healthy by sticking with a menu that is relatively simple and straightforward, Julianne likes to opt for lean protein and veggies with quinoa and rice for the added boost of energy.

But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t indulge in a ooey, gooey pizza. In fact, it’s her absolute fave. She revealed to Shape, “Pizza is my favorite food. I eat it a lot! I want everyone to know that I’m not Miss Perfect. You can cheat every once in a while, and that’s OK.” Not Miss Perfect? Really? Because the fact that you eat pizza along with your healthy diet makes you seem pretty darn perfect to us.

She also added, “My definition of healthy is figuring out a lifestyle. A lot of people think it’s about what you eat or how hard you work out. It’s about your mind as much as it is about your body.”
