  • large onion, diced   ( 1 )

  • large cloves garlic, finely chopped  ( 2 )
  • tomato paste  ( 2 tablespoons )
  • anchovy paste  ( 1 tablespoon )
  • big red wine  ( 1/2 bottle )
  • fire-roasted whole tomatoes and juice  ( 14 ounces )
  • dijon mustard  ( 1 tablespoon )
  • Worcestershire sauce  ( 3-4 dashes )
