Start Your Morning With These Quick and Easy Raw Buddha Bowls

Health and wellness are high on our list of priorities. We love energizing nutritional vegan recipes and even consulted an expert to show us how to kickstart a raw and healthy lifestyle. But it’s never too late to get back on the health kick so we have two simple and quick raw recipes for you: a delicious avocado smoothie bowl with an abundance of fruit to start your morning and a raw buddha bowl with lemon tahini dressing to give you some midday energy. The best part? They only take five minutes to prepare. Scroll on!

RAW AVOCADO SMOOTHIE BOWL

Ingredients:

— 1 pitted avocado

— 1/2 cup almond milk

— 1 teaspoon cinnamon

— 1 banana sliced

— 1/2 cup mango

— 1/2 cup blackberries

— 2 Tablespoons hemp seeds

— 2 Tablespoons flax seeds

— 3 Tablespoons coconut flakes

— 3 Tablespoons sunflower seeds

— handful of ice cubes

Instructions:

Toss your avocado, almond milk, cinnamon, half of your banana, hemp seeds, flax seeds and ice into a blender and blend until smooth. If you want to sweeten it a bit, add some raw honey.

Pour your avocado smoothie into a bowl and top with the toppings of your choice! We covered ours with the rest of our banana slices, cubed mangos, blackberries, coconut flakes and sunflower seeds.

RAW BUDDHA BOWL

Ingredients:

— 2-3 cups spinach

— 1/2 can black beans

— 1/2 avocado

— 1/2 cup shelled edamame

— 1/2 cup diced bell peppers

— 3 Tablespoons pumpkin seeds

Instructions:

Layer your greens first, then pack in your beans which will add a great source of protein (black beans and chickpeas), then top with all the goodies. Remember, the more color the better!

RAW LEMON TAHINI DRESSING

Ingredients:

— 1/2 cup tahini

— 1 lemon juice

— 1/4 cup olive oil

— 1-2 cloves of garlic, minced

— 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
