This Is the Co-Founder of Birchbox’s Exact Skincare Routine

There’s always a bit of curiosity and, honestly, a bit of secrecy around the products and routines people use to keep their skin healthy from the inside out. What’s even more intriguing is when you can get a peek into the skincare secrets of industry experts. This series will lift the veil on the products, tips and hacks behind people who are majorly *skinspirational*.

If you’re a beauty babe, you’re probably familiar with Birchbox, the monthly beauty subscription service that sends customers several samples of makeup, hair and skincare products each month. The brand also has their own makeup line. Co-founder Hayley Barna, a self-proclaimed “lifelong beauty beginner,” recently became the *first female partner* (hayyyyy) at seed-stage venture capital firm First Round Capital, so needless to say, she’s a busy girlboss who knows her ish. Oh, and did we mention that her entire morning skincare routine takes less than five minutes?! This is the co-founder of Birchbox’s exact skincare routine.

WHAT IS THE CO-FOUNDER OF BIRCHBOX’S SKINCARE ROUTINE?

Step 1. Morning Shower Cleanse: “I use One Love Organics Easy Does It Foaming Cleanser ($29) in the shower.”

Step 2. Exfoliate 3x/Week: “After I cleanse, I use Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator ($34) three times a week.”

Step 5. Serum Rotation: “I love trying new serums! Derma e Hydrating Serum With Hyaluronic Acid ($30), Tata Harper Rejuvenating Serum ($98) and Jurlique Herbal Recovery Advanced Serum ($56) have been in rotation recently.”

Step 6. Eye Cream: “I use StriVectin-AR Advanced Retinol Eye Treatment ($75).”

Step 7. SPF, SPF, SPF: Supergoop! Anti-Aging City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30 ($42) is a super light, everyday SPF.”

Step 8. Remove Makeup: “At the end of the day, I remove my makeup with Milk Makeup Micellar Water Makeup Remover Wipes ($14).”

Step 9. Toner Again: “Before bed, I repeat toning my skin with Michael Todd Cranberry Antiox Toner ($19).”

Step 10. Serious Moisturizer: “At night, I use Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream ($27), or I’ll wear an overnight mask like Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask ($58).”
