It’s been a whirlwind romance for The Bachelorette’s JoJo Fletcher and her new fiancé, Jordan Rodgers. From their on-screen meeting to their engagement with one heck of a gorgeous ring (not to mention the incredible ring she didn’t get), it has been one magical moment after another. And if these two weren’t already overwhelmed with the loving vibes, then their surprise engagement party surely did the trick.
When 25-year-old JoJo and 27-year-old Jordan headed out on Saturday night, they were ready for a quiet dinner… but that’s not at all what they got. Instead, they walked into a restaurant filled with loved ones. Thrown by Jordan’s family but with both sides in attendance, the only absence was the former football player’s brother, Aaron, who is famously estranged from the rest of the crew.
But it wasn’t the strained family sitch that was the focus of the event; instead it was love, love, love. “My heart is so full!” JoJo wrote on Instagram. “Jordan and I were going out to what we thought was just a little dinner with friends but instead walked into a room full of both our friends and family to celebrate in our engagement. We are so incredibly blessed.”
Jordan was feeling the love just as hard, saying, “When you think you are just going to dinner with your fiancé and a few friends and you walk into a room full of both your families and best friends! So blessed to not only have found the love of my life @joelle_fletcher, but have an amazing family and new family to share a life with. So blessed to do life with these people!”
It looks like everyone in the fam (minus Aaron) is on board for this reality series match.
