15 Sweet Recipes to Help You Dip Your Dessert

It’s time to get inventive with dessert again. Instead of relying on your go-to cupcake recipe or figuring out how to make the best chocolate chip cookie, think sweet dips instead. You can add in any flavor you want, and most have a cream cheese base that will leave your mouth watering. Think of your favorite candy (peanut butter cups, duh!) and you can literally turn it into a dip. While you’re brainstorming, we got a head start with these 15 sweet dip recipes.

1. Cannoli Dip: Holy cannoli, this dip looks delicious! The original cannoli has always been a favorite, but taking the best part of the Italian pastry (the creamy inside) and making it the star is something that should have been done a looong time ago. (via Homemade Hooplah)

2. Cheesecake Cake Batter Dip: This dip *might* be too pretty to eat. Combining two flavors that everyone loves (vanilla and cream cheese), it would make the ultimate birthday surprise. (via I Wash You Dry)

3. Cookie Dough Dip: Pretty much all adults grew up sneaking spoonfuls of cookie dough when their parents weren’t looking. Well, sneak no more, because here’s a cookie dough dip you can pile on delicious dippers like graham crackers. (via Homemade Hooplah)

4. S’mores Fluff: Our love for s’mores has never been a secret, so naturally we’re going to showcase a few s’more-themed dips. This recipe calls for chocolate, chocolate and *more* chocolate. We’re suddenly feeling very hungry. (via Fake Ginger)

5. Lemon Cheesecake Fruit Dip: Just the thought of a lemon dessert transports us to hot summer days spent relaxing with friends. The only thing that makes it better is dipping fresh fruit into it, so this is a pretty solid treat in our book. (via Taste and Tell)

6. Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake Dip: If you ever want to step up your peanut butter cup game, here’s a GREAT option. Use a vanilla wafer to scoop it up and you’ll wonder why you’ve never made this creamy, chocolatey dip before. (via The Chunky Chef)

7. S’mores Dip: This ooey gooey dip just screams marshmallows and has sticky written all over it. Usually we don’t volunteer ourselves to get sticky, but we will definitely make an exception for this yummy s’mores concoction. (via Yellow Bliss Road)

8. Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake Dip: We couldn’t source all these great, sweet dips and not give you a pumpkin pie flavor. With Halloween looming, this might just be the party treat that will have the neighborhood howling for more. (via A Night Owl)

9. Red Velvet Cake Batter Dip: This dip wins the award for easiest to make. Made with just five ingredients, the only steps to making this treat are dump into a bowl and mix. We have a feeling it’s probably pretty easy to eat too, but we’ll do some recon and report back. (via Jen’s Favorite Cookies)

10. Cake Batter Dip: Bring on the Funfetti cake and multi-colored sprinkles (there’s no age limit for that, right?). Maybe for our next birthday party we’ll just stick some candles in this cakey combination and call it a win. (via Fresh April Flours)

11. S’more Cheesecake Dip: Putting this cheesecake s’mores dip in the oven for a minute gives the marshmallows that super desirable golden brown look. It’ll also melt those mini chocolate chips, which we all know makes for the perfect s’more. (via A Pretty Life)

12. Strawberry Pretzel Salad Dip: If this is a salad, then we should have absolutely no problem starting that diet we’ve putting off for the past eight months. Strawberries provide the sweet; pretzels provide the salty. *Perfection.* (via Crazy for Crust)

13. Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Dip: Mo’ peanut butter cups, mo’ problems, said no one EVER. This dip combines two of the greats — peanut butter cups and cookie dough — and begs for a pretzel dipper. (via Shugary Sweets)

14. Toffee Apple Dip: Toffee is nutty and crunchy — everything we want in a treat. With fall approaching, this is definitely the flavor we’re looking for. Since we’re dipping apples in it, that kind of counts as eating healthy, right? (via Cooking Classy)

15. Turtle Cheeseball: Making a cheeseball is kind of like playing with edible Play Doh for adults. You get to mix it all up, form it into a big ball and then when you’re done, you get to eat it! If it happens to taste like turtle cheesecake, that’s just a bonus. (via Shugary Sweets)
