Weddings have a special place in my heart. After all, it was my own wedding back in 2011 that inspired me to start both Brit + Co. and Weduary, our social wedding app. Over the past two and a half years, I’ve gotten to meet so many women who have been through the (sometimes grueling) wedding process. Through all of it, I’ve learned way more than anyone might care to know about what it’s like to be a bride.
It’s for these reasons that I’m excited to share my own love-related news on this Valentine’s Day: I’m teaming up with Target to help all of you brides-to-be with YOUR wedding!
I can still remember all the work that went into planning my big day, from the DIY details to the mega-stressful decisions. Above all, I remember the absolute joy I felt when it all came together! It was truly the best day of my life. There is so much that goes into creating this major event — whatever format, venue and budget you chose, it’s true that weddings are a LOT of work. As part of the Target Wedding team, I’ll be there with tips and tricks to help you along every step of the planning process. I want to help you create the dream wedding you’ve always imagined!
If you’re a regular Brit + Co. reader, then you know this isn’t the first time we’re teaming up with Target. Over the last few months, we’ve been treasure hunting their site to trick out the ultimate registry, from creating a sweet DIY beverage station to turning storage bins into centerpieces! We even stepped up our wedding website game by working with them to create a brand new Weduary theme for all you newlyweds-to-be.
We’ll be discussing everything from registries to DIY bouquets (check out how I made mine right here!) to how you can incorporate the latest tech trends into your big day. I can’t wait to share some of the ideas we’re already working on! For now, I hope you’ll check out my personal love-themed Q&A with the Target team. And if you already have big wedding-related questions, shoot them my way by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
