Urban Decay thinks you look better nude, at least when it comes to this season’s makeup trends. We all know that their Naked Palette has a cult-like following. In fact, the palette is just as popular as their celeb collabs, like their luxe lipstick with Gwen Stefani and their “addictive vice” with Ruby Rose — which is why makeup lovers were desperate for a matte version. Well, Urban Decay has heard your cries and answered with their new must-have matte naked palette.
Founder Wende Zomnir posted the announcement to Urban Decay’s Instagram account and gave us a few deets in the comments, saying, “The ultimate range of matte neutrals. Done the Naked way. Twelve all new exclusive shades of eye shadow.” We can’t WAIT.
The Naked Ultimate Basics Palette ($55), described as the “biggest and best yet,” will include 12 new eye shadows that are all, obviously, matte nude shades (save for one, which is a demi-matte). It’ll be available via the website on September 18, but you can also sign up to receive news about the palette (and to remind you to get yours) if you’re the FOMO-type — which is kinda totally understandable, since this will surely be out of stock shortly after the release.
Giving you “a whole new way to get naked” and “go commando” this season, this is definitely the next hit for the already in-demand brand.
Check out the deets from Wende herself in this handy vid from Urban Decay.
And, of course, you’ll need a peek at the “art of getting naked” ;)
