6 Weekend Makeup Essentials Under $15
Happy *official* spring! We’ve shared our makeup-free spring beauty tips, and now it’s time to fully embrace all the new-season products we can get our hands on. This weekend is the perfect time to debut some fresh colors (bring on the corals and lilacs!). Here are six weekend makeup essentials — each under $15 — that’ll make this weekend extra beautiful.
An easy way to amp up a daytime look is to hack a smokey eye with dark eyeshadow used as eyeliner. Black shadow can be intense, but a deep navy blue like Circa Beauty Focus Eye Shadow Single in Rebellious ($7) is an inky color that’s super flattering when applied sparingly. Top off your after-hours look with a few swipes of MAC Lipglass in Oyster Girl ($15), which is a slightly iridescent lilac shade. It’s one of my personal faves and looks great worn alone or layered over any lipstick.
YOUR NIGHT O.U.T. LOOK
Tonight is all about your eyes, including your brows. Create a night-on-the-town look with any of the shades in Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 Redemption Eye Shadow Palette ($7). You can create a ton of different looks with this one palette, and the deeper shades work great with a wet brush for a pretty eyeliner. After you’ve perfected your eyeshadow, fill in your brows with L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer ($9), which has a spoolie on one end so you can easily brush them out to keep them looking natural.
YOUR BRUNCH WITH BESTIES LOOK
Focus your makeup today on healthy-looking skin and brightened-up eyes. Start by adding color to your cheeks and lightly defining your cheekbones with ULTA Sculpting Palette ($14). After that, curl your eyelashes and apply several swipes of a tried-and-true classic makeup staple, Maybelline Great Lash BIG Washable Mascara ($6).
