5 Naughty Holiday Cocktails (In 5 Ingredients Or Less!) (Slideshow)

Item 1/1

[slideshow] Where’s the fun in being nice without a little bit of naughty? These festive cocktails are sure to stir up a healthy dose of holiday cheer and are ‘Brit Approved’ given their simplicity of requiring 5 ingredients or less. (Oh, and we recommend serving these in a DIY set of Candy Cane Cups or Balloon Stemware.) Rosemary Apple Cider A simple but cozy combo of bourbon, apple cider and rosemary makes this festive drink as delicious as it is easy! Not a fan of bourbon? Our light (but likely blasphemous in terms of mixology) hack is substituting vodka for bourbon, and adding a splash of club soda. (photo and recipe by Bookcooker) Bailey’s Peppermint Cream The holidays are always a great excuse to add candy cane accoutrements to just about everything, and adding in a combo of hot chocolate, whipped cream, and hint of mint Bailey’s screams après-ski. (photo and recipe by Liquor.com) Poinsettia Punch Maybe you don’t like the omnipresent Christmas flowers, but a burst of poinsettia-like color by way of cranberries, orange slices and Cointreau is always welcome at our tinsel-filled fiesta. (photo and recipe by CHOW) Blue Sparkling Star The 4th of July, Hanukkah, and New Year’s have one awesome thing in common: when you host a party it is entirely appropriate to serve a bright blue drink. This sparklefest employs blue sanding sugar (available on Amazon), orange-infused vodka, champagne, and, of course, blue curaçao. (photo and recipe by Daydreamer Desserts) Manhattan Transfer Sometimes its good to keep things classic, with a twist. For a simple holiday update, this Manhattan recipe calls for cherry brandy, orange slices, and substitutes orange bitters for the standard Angostura variety. (photo and recipe by Teroforma) We’re sure you’ve got some delicious homespun holiday cocktails of your own. Send them over to hello@brit.co and we’ll feature them if they are spectacularly awesome and easy.
