Ann Taylor Launches Rental Service for All Your 9-to-5 Outfit Needs
With shoppers abandoning a day at the mall for the ease of online shopping (and free delivery!), retailers are searching for new ways to keep them engaged. Case in point: Ann Taylor, your official home for workwear essentials, just launched a rental service, and we’ve got all the details.
Debuting quietly last month, Infinite Style by Ann Taylor is an “online subscription rental service that gives you access to hundreds of Ann Taylor looks for one flat fee.” You can pick looks from the current season, but as it stands, sister stores Loft and Lou & Grey are not included.
For $95 a month, take your pick from hundreds of styles, keeping three garments at a time. For now, jewelry and accessories are not available, but you can buy things you really love at a discount.
In the same vein as other clothing rental companies like Rent the Runway and Le Tote, Ann Taylor is hoping to win back fans by giving them custom style with little commitment. And in support of their new subscription rental service, they’re launching rental showrooms and a personalized shopping service. Ann Taylor senior vice president and general manager Julie Rosen told WWD, “We’re definitely optimistic and I think it’s going to be a great new way for this 63-year-old brand to do things in a new and exciting way.”
Free delivery, free returns, an unlimited closet, and no dry cleaning? We’re in.
