Ariana Grande’s New ‘Breathin’ Music Video Stars Her Pet Pig Piggy Smalls
The first two videos from Ariana Grande’s latest album Sweetener were big-budget sci-fi affairs, but for her new video, the singer has opted for something decidedly more lo-fi. “Breathin” consists of a home movie starring Piggy Smalls, the tiny pet pig she shares with fiancé Pete Davidson, and it is as adorable as it sounds.
Piggy Smalls is the star of the whole clip, which shows him walking around and exploring a bed full of cozy, bunched up blankets. In September, Grande posted photos and videos on her Instagram story of the teeny teacup piglet getting cozy with her and Davidson. A few weeks later, Davidson told Seth Myers that the new pet was acquired on an impulse.
“This girl, like, she was like, ‘I want a pig,'” he said. “And then an hour later it was just there. You know what I mean? Like, I’m still trying to get, like, a Propecia refill….This chick got a pig in a f****ng hour.”
The SNL star has since gotten a tattoo of Piggy Smalls, and the pet has also featured prominently on Grande’s social media. Last week, when Grande posted a selfie holding a copy of Sweetener on Instagram, fans couldn’t help but wonder about the apparent baby playpen in the background. Turns out, it’s for Piggy Smalls.
