Ayesha Curry’s Dinner Hack Is So Weird (But Genius)
From the court to the kitchen (both at home and in her recent SF pop-up restaurant), sharing beauty confessions and in front of the camera, Ayesha Curry is everywhere right now. We recently hung out with Ayesha and daughters Riley and Ryan while on set for a photoshoot for a new chilled veggie soup called ZUPA NOMA. While this yummy soup (seriously, it’s delish) is all about quick ‘n’ easy nutrition on-the-go — it comes in plastic bottles you drink from like a pressed juice — Ayesha is a master at the family meal. She even shared a secret or two with us you might want to incorporate into Sunday supper. Hold tight… this one sounds crazy.
“I add a little bit of sugar to tomato sauce,” she told me. “It’s the secret for the perfect chicken parm sauce. You just need a little bit. It brings out the tomato flavor and does the trick every time. Transforms it.” Chicken parmigiana is husband Steph Curry’s most requested meal from his wife. (Hi, we’d like some too, please.)

Next time you’re cooking, don’t feel like you have to totally stick to a recipe. Sometimes, the best creations come when you freestyle a bit and make your own by tweaking a few ingredients. And a little pinch can go a *long* way to opening up fresh flavors in whole foods. Take it from Ayesha!
