The New “Bachelor” Preview Revs Up the Drama
Despite Jef Holm’s $5,000 bet against him, Arie Luyendyk Jr. seems to be enjoying his time as the latest Bachelor. But a new preview for next week’s episode of the ABC reality TV show suggests that the competition is getting heated (and not necessarily in a good way).
“It’s time for the women to take the driver’s seat…if they don’t drive each other crazy first,” the show tweeted with the sneak peek.
Though Luyendyk is working as a real estate agent these days (and no, asking him about an apartment won’t snag you any extra info about the show), he has spent much of his professional career as a race car driver. So next week, some of the women vying for his heart are hopping behind the wheel to rev things up on a “demolition derby date.” And while most of the ladies have no problem getting into the action and slamming, smashing, and crashing into each other with total abandon, one contestant tears up due to a past trauma related to bumper cars.
But that’s just where things get started!
Back at the mansion, the drama has kicked into high gear. “Women are ruthless,” we hear one bachelorette say before the camera cuts to a confrontation between Bibiana and Krystal. “Take some time and reflect on what you just did, because there are a lot of angry people here and I’m just the voice,” Bibiana snaps. Whoa!
