*This* Is Beyoncé’s First Social Media Post Since Giving Birth to the Twins
Queen B has made her return! Two weeks after it was announced that the singer had given birth to twins Sir and Rumi, the 35-year-old has officially made her return to social media, though not in the way you might expect.
Rather than posting pics of herself or her family’s newest additions, like Cristiano Ronaldo recently did after welcoming twins of his own via surrogate, the mother of three, who has been mute on all forms of social media since June 15, has reappeared on both Twitter and Facebook to promote a very worthy cause: Beygood4Burundi.
Mothers in Burundi want to provide clean, safe water for their children. Let's help them, together: https://t.co/zxxNOtfq2Z #BEYGOOD4BURUNDI pic.twitter.com/olLsohhvvB

The campaign is a partnership between the megastar and UNICEF to help bring clean drinking water to Burundi, one of the most densely populated countries in Africa. Together, they’re seeking donations to help build water supply systems for schools and health organizations in the area, in addition to safe drinking sources for communities (which only 60 percent of the population currently has access to).
So bad, is the water sitch, in fact, that families are currently traveling five miles or more on foot to find H20 every day, much of which is disease-ridden. Beyoncé is doing her part by getting involved, because, as she is quoted as saying in the promotional video above, “Access to water is a fundamental right. When you give children clean and safe water, you don’t just give them life, you give them health, an education, and a brighter future.” Hear, hear!
