‘Big Brother’ Stars Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson Are Engaged! See the Sweet Proposal
Reality TV romance success stories are few and far between, but Big Brother can add one to the list! Season 19 stars turned Amazing Race contestants Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson are engaged to be married.
“I said yes!” Graf wrote on Instagram. She revealed that on Tuesday, February 13, Nickson popped the question at LA’s Runyon Canyon. “My best friend asked me to marry him. He’s made my dreams come true every day since we met! I love you and there’s no one else in the world for me. You’re my person and I thank God for you coming into my life!”
Nickson staged the surprise by having Graf meet him at an overlook at the popular hiking destination, where he got down on one knee and popped the question.
“I found my true love,” he wrote on Instagram. “Thank you BB for casting us so we could meet, thank you Joey Hamra @hamradiamonds in NYC for helping me design the perfect ring, thank you Lori for helping keeping it a secret since I’m with Jess every waking moment, thank you to my sisters and mom and dad for making Jess family…we are blessed.”
Graf also shouted out the ring designers, calling it her dream ring and saying she’s a “happy happy girl!” Nickson proudly shared a peek at the bling in a video detailing his proposal plan.
Graf and Nickson first met while competing on Big Brother season 19. After developing a devoted fan base, they were asked to compete on the current — and 30th! — season of TheAmazing Race. They’re currently in the final four and have a shot at the $1 million prize when the finale airs on Wednesday, February 21, on CBS.
