Despite Blake Lively being a super famous celeb (not to mention the fact that she’s no stranger to controversy), there are still plenty of ways that we can relate to the career-driven mama. That includes how she’s learning to love her body after baby #2. Body-positivity, FTW!
It’s pretty darn incredible what a body is capable of when making a tiny human, and that doesn’t come without changes — some temporary, and others permanent. And accepting (and loving) those changes can take time. “It’s all a process,” 29-year-old Lively told E!, adding, “You know, after the second kid it’s really different.”
She continued to say that although she’s feels like her new body isn’t necessarily her “normal body,” she reveals, “I like it… I’m learning to love my body in every iteration.” However, even for Lively, it’s not always an easy thing to do, as she admits, “I think that’s hard for women, and so I learned a lot.”
Let’s hope we can all continue to learn about and love our bods as much as Blake Lively.
