‘Flip Or Flop’ Star Christina El Moussa Is Getting Her Own HGTV Show
Christina El Moussa has a new project to tackle. HGTV has announced that the Flip or Flop star will be branching out to appear in her own new series called Christina on the Coast.
“I’m so excited to announce my new series which will debut in early 2019!” El Moussa shared excitedly on Instagram. “I will be helping homeowners redesign their outdated properties into beautiful spaces!” The new eight-episode series will follow the HGTV star as she gets even more involved in what she loves most — design — and works with Southern California homeowners on updating their spaces.
The series will also feature a candid look at her life following her divorce from ex-husband and Flip or Flop costar Tarek El Moussa. While the ex-couple continued to film episodes of their hit show together following their split, Tarek also struck out with a new show of his own, The Pick Me Up Project, earlier this year. Christina told People that she’s looking forward to doing the same.
“I’m excited to do my own thing,” she said. The first episode is said to follow Christina and her two children, daughter Taylor, 7, and son Brayden, 2, as they move out of their family home and into their new Newport Beach space, giving it a major overhaul in the process. So far, no exact date has been given for Christina on the Coast‘s early 2019 premiere, but it’s safe to say we’re not the only ones looking forward to it.
“It’s going to be fun and light-hearted,” Christina told People. “I feel like it’s a win-win.”
