Get Married at William and Kate’s Kensington Palace for the Royal Wedding of Your Dreams
When Kate Middleton married Prince William back in 2011, every little girl who’s ever imagined herself as a princess was left dreaming of their own royal wedding. And we’re here to help you get one step closer to making that dream come true, with a little info you might not know. Every year, the ever-loving Prince and his lady love open up their home, the spectacular Kensington Palace, for other brides and grooms to enjoy the most magical day of their lives.
The former home of Princess Diana and current residence of little Prince George and Princess Charlotte, along with their parents, Kensington Palace was built by Queen Anne in 1704 and is now “one of London’s premiere wedding venues,” according to the official palace website.
They go on to explain, “Located within tranquil Kensington Gardens, the palace’s inspiring wedding venues are some of the most beautiful in London. The romance of Kensington Palace promises an unforgettable atmosphere for your special day.”
With various areas to choose from, including the State Apartments, Queen’s Gallery and Sunken Gardens, each is a classic and gorgeous space available for dinners, receptions and, of course, weddings.
Starting at $15,000 and with limited dates available (only 80 events are allowed per year to protect the historic home), if this is the location of your dream wedding, you might want to get on the list ASAP.
Who knows? Perhaps even Will and Kate will drop by to wish you well on your big day.
