Halsey Ditches the Wigs to Show Off Her Natural Hair
Halseyhas once again slayed us with a double-tap worthy beauty look. Nope, it’s not a face tattoo or full-face glam thanks to YSL. This time it’s all about her hair — and for the first time ever, it’s not a wig or extensions, but her born-with-it mane.
We’ve been majorly heart-eyed over the “Bad at Love” singer’s hair ever since we saw how masterfully she pulled off a blonde buzz back in 2017. Since then, Halsey, 23, has donned everything from waist-length braids, jet-black, sleek, straight strands, and blonde bombshell voluminous beachy waves. But wouldn’t you know it, all those hairstyles were actually covering up her biggest beauty secret — an attempt to grow out her natural locks.
In a now-viral Instagram post, the star showcases her natural hair in a classic mirror selfie, captioned, “new growth, new growth; all these fades I outgrew❣️” As with basically all of her posts, fans had something to say about it. Where some swooned over and applauded how well she concealed her quest for fuller hair, others second-guessed the pic, claiming her hair looks more like a wig than real growth. As always, Halsey had the perfect response, clapping back in glorious, re-tweetable fashion.
