HGTV’s “Home Town” Stars Ben and Erin Napier Are Expecting a Baby Girl!
Earlier this year, HGTV welcomed Ben and Erin Napier and their show Home Town to the network, and now the Napiers are welcoming a new addition of their own! The couple announced in a blog post that they’ll be welcoming a baby girl soon — and they already know what they’re going to name her.

The Napiers first teased the news in an Instagram post, leading fans to check out a candid blog post on their entire pregnancy journey.
“I am now almost seven months pregnant, and it has been thankfully a healthy and easy pregnancy,” Erin wrote. “She’s a girl and we will name her after my grandmother. My prayer for Helen is that she will be brave and kind. I pray that she will not be bullied the way I was, and that she will be a protector of the ones who are.”
Erin’s personal post also revealed that she found out she was expecting on Mother’s Day, after being afraid of pregnancy and motherhood for a long time. She recalled falling into bed crying when her pregnancy test was positive.
“We’ve kept it a secret because it felt too close and too important to share,” she said. “I’ve not written about it here, but you’ll be able to follow along with our whole journey when season two airs.”
Erin ended her announcement with a sweet shout-out to her husband. “Thank you for making me a mother, Ben. Thank you for your heart and your love that’s big enough to carry Helen and I both, and for holding my hand every step of the way.”
Erin and Ben live and restore old homes in small-town Mississippi on Home Town and have been touted as the “next Chip and Joanna,” who will end their own HGTV show Fixer Upper after its seventh season. Congrats to Erin and Ben on their growing family!
