Like almost all retailers this fall, H&M is slinging a wide-spanning variety of denim styles, including a brand-new kind of skinny jean. And they’ve given us all a good reason to reach for the bodycon silhouette over relaxed pairs and slouchy boyfriend fits. H&M’s ultra-slim fits now come with built-in shapewear to tuck and tone areas that could use a little extra TLC.
Available in four washes that range from light blue to black, each five-pocket &Denim style is equipped with “technical stretch” to maintain the garment’s shape while slimming your stomach, thighs and rear. That means your casual Fridays uniform and your confidence just got a major all-in-one boost.
Slipping into a pair of sag-proof, yet stretchable skinnies won’t break the bank either, just like any other on-trend garment we’ve come to expect from H&M. The shaping jeans retail for just $49.95 each, one third of the price of their Spanx-branded counterparts. Let’s just hope H&M applies this technology to its other form-fitting denim styles, especially now that flares are back on the racks — $50 seems like a totally fair trade for helping us rock a flawless hourglass shape.
