Watch: Candace Cameron Bure Slays Ice Ice Baby
Candace Cameron Bure has been everywhere lately. After the incredible success of Fuller House on Netflix, she joined Dancing With the Stars and became a co-host on everyone’s favorite daytime talk show, The View. Since the ladies on The View always know how to enjoy a good laugh, they did their own version of Jimmy Fallon’s Lip Sync Battle called Co-host Karaoke, complete with a slew of special guests and incredible performances. Candace dug deep and brought us back to her childhood days in the early ’90s with her pick, the classic Vanilla Ice song “Ice Ice Baby” (along with sweet high tops and rap skills). But it was a surprise guest who really took the performance from okay to amazing.
Yep, that’s “Ice Ice Baby” rap star Vanilla Ice belting it out and sounding as good as he did 25 years ago! While the rapper occasionally still holds concerts, he’s generally out of the limelight these days, but we’d love to see him rocking out again. Even the show’s “judges” for the day, Boy George and LA Reid loved the performance, but Michelle Collins ended up winning the prize for her rendition of “Big Spender,” beating out Raven, Candace and Ice.
Word to ya’ motha, Michelle.
