She’s only four, but Everly Tatum already has one incredible talent: She’s a master with a makeup brush. In an interview with People, Jenna Dewan Tatum revealed that her daughter who she shares with Channing Tatum tried a contour with impressive results. The proud mama boasted, “She did a contour. It was in the right spot. It was kind of amazing actually. She calls it freestyle.”
In addition to bronzers and highlighters, the toddler definitely isn’t afraid of using color (“She has a really strong sense of creativity and I foster that,” Tatum said). The Witches of East End star recently posted a selfie with an Evie-makeover, writing, “Evie just might take over the beauty industry one day. Her finest work I dare say 😂.”
Of course, the Tatums are in no rush to have a makeup-wearing teenage girl on their hands, and it seems Channing is already afraid for when that day arrives. “I don’t think he’s anywhere near ready. He’ll see pictures and be like, ‘That girl is 14?!’ It’s mind blowing, you really almost can’t see it’s what’s happening.”
Despite their daughter’s love of beauty loot, the Magic Mike actor would choose his wife of seven years with a bare-face over being glammed up. “He prefers [me] without makeup,” she said. “Makes it easy on me.”
Though her hubby might like a more natural look, the Danskin spokesperson says she thinks women should do what they want, when they want when it comes to makeup. “When it comes to beauty, I love beauty, my mom loved beauty. No one ever judged us for it,” she said. “We should just stop the shaming and the judging in general. Women who wear makeup say you should wear makeup. People who don’t wear makeup say you shouldn’t wear makeup. Just be you. So if [Everly] likes it great; if she doesn’t, fine.”
