John Stamos Ran into Ashton Kutcher While Grocery Shopping for Pasta and It Was Instagram Gold
It’s always oddly delightful to see celebrities take on mundane tasks the rest of endure on a daily basis, like say, doing laundry, or, despise it as they might (we’re looking at you, Liam Gallagher!), making tea. Yesterday, however, the social media gods not only blessed us with a shot of Fuller House star John Stamos doing his own grocery shopping; they sweetened the deal by adding yet another A-lister into the mix: Ashton Kutcher.
Apparently, the My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 actor was out innocently picking up some (organic, gluten-free) white cheddar macaroni in order to prepare a delicious meal for his girlfriend, model Caitlin McHugh (awwww!), when lo and behold, he ran into the family man, who also just so happened to be stocking up on some carbohydrates.
The pair then did what any super famous grown men would do upon meeting in the pasta aisle, and posed together for a selfie.
“You never know who you’ll run into at the grocery store when grabbing ingredients to make a gourmet meal for your gal,” Stamos wrote, adding the hashtag, “#whipped.”
Needless to say, the sight of Uncle Jesse grocery shopping side by side with Kelso was instant Instagram gold: The post is already up to nearly 120,000 likes.
While there’s no word on whether or not Kutcher was also headed home to make wife Mila Kunis her own gourmet dish, the fact that he aided in stocking their lasagna is good enough for us!
Now, we’re left with just one question: Where are these two grocery shopping so we can change stores?
