We Bet You Missed This Megastar in the First ‘SATC’ Movie
On June 6, it will have been 20 years since Sex and the City introduced us to four impeccably dressed fictional best friends living in New York City, each of whom were played by actresses who would become megastars in their own right — Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, and Kim Cattrall. The movie that followed the show’s long-running series features yet another megastar, however, and we’re not talking about Jennifer Hudson. In fact, we’d be willing to bet you totally missed him. (Don’t worry — we did too!)
Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda, who has since become a household name, had a blink-and-you-might-miss-it cameo in the film that he was all too happy to own up to.
Taking to Twitter, the Mary Poppins Returns actor shared a background shot of himself from the film, writing, “Never forget that Tommy Kail and I can be seen moving a couch in the first Sex and City movie (when @CynthiaNixon was the famousest Miranda (she still is)).”
If you’re still blanking, allow us to help you out: The pic was taken from the scene in which Miranda is hunting for a new apartment.
Nothing? It looks like it might be time to give this one another viewing…
