This Lush Beauty Product Was Inspired by Princess Diana
More than 20 years after her tragic death, Princess Diana is still a total beauty icon. And so it comes as no surprise that one of Lush’s fan-favorite products was actually inspired by none other than the People’s Princess.
Lush’s co-founder Mark Constantine created the aptly named Gorgeous Moisturizer ($88) after meeting with the royal in the Lush Labs when she came in to visit back in the ’80s. She brought her own favorite moisturizer, and Constantine based his formula off of that, as well as gave the lotion its scent after her love of sweet-smelling blossoms.
The product contains high-quality ingredients, including pineapple for refining your pores, orange blossom honey that pack a hydrating punch, and coconut, primrose, wheat germ, avocado, and extra virgin olive oils.
If you want to copy Princess Di’s routine, get ready to use this stuff up fast. Her longtime makeup artist told Stylist that the late Princess of Wales’ regimen consisted of “cleansing, toning, and moisturizing twice a day.” But with the luxurious feel it gives your skin, you probably won’t mind.
