Matthew McConaughey is full of surprises. Just last week, the Oscar winner took us on a thrilling, unforgettable rollercoaster ride of emotions during the Olympics, and now, the 46-year-old has yet another surprise up his sleeve: a secret YouTube account! First Beyoncé with the secret Snapchat, now this? We. Are. Stoked. It’s pretty spectacular to boot: In fact, it’ll make you love him more than ever before (yes, it’s possible).

The star, who is currently busy promoting his new animated film, Kubo and the Two Strings, is famously quiet on social media sans his beloved Twitter account, which features updates about his work, charitable causes and amazing selfies with the newly retired Michael Phelps, but it seems he’s just been hiding in the one place we never thought to look: YouTube.

As it turns out, McConaugheyOfficial is indeed Matthew’s official YouTube account, and though it only has six uploads posted over the span of a year, it’s packed with some seriously sweet, heartwarming clips, plus a brand new catchphrase: “McConaughey here.”

Shot on his computer camera, Matthew looks as laid back and cool as ever as he dreamily gazes into your soul from his living room and shares insight on the many amazing causes he supports, including the Just Keep Livin and I Am Water foundations. With 58,823 subscribers and just over a million views, we can’t help but wonder why this channel has been shrouded in such secrecy — surely Matthew’s infectious desire to do well in the world should be viewed by all!

Hmm, what other surprises do you have in store for us, Matthew?!
