A Citrusy Twist on Cinnamon Buns

Tart cranberries and sweet orange zest perfectly balance these butter + brown sugar loaded breakfast buns. Lather on OJ icing to push it over the edge of awesome.

  • all-purpose flour  ( 3 3/4 cups (470 grams) )
  • instant dry yeast  ( 1 packet (7 grams or 2 1/4 teaspoons) )
  • coarse or kosher salt, or more to taste  ( 1 1/4 teaspoons )
  • oil for bowl  ( 1 teaspoon )
  • butter  ( 1 1/2 tablespoons (20 grams) )
  • packed light brown sugar  ( 1 cup (190 grams) )
  • fresh cranberries Orange zest leftover from above  ( 1 cup (115 grams) )
