  • sugar  ( 2/3 cup )
  • matzo cake meal (or 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon flour)  ( 2/3 cup )
  • salt  ( 1/4 teaspoon )
  • unsalted butter (melted and cooled slightly)  ( 1 stick (1/2 cup) )
  • egg (lightly beaten)  ( 1 large )
  • vanilla extract  ( 1 teaspoon )
  • Chocolate (e,g, chocolate baking discs, “wafers”, 2 or 3 chocolate chips)
