  • Gruyere cheese (preferably aged), cubed or shredded   ( 14 ounces )
  • Vacherin Fribourgeois, cubed   ( 14 ounces )
  • freshly grated nutmeg   ( 1 pinch )
  • freshly ground black pepper  ( 2 pinches )
  • lemon juice  ( 1 teaspoon )
  • Kirsch (cherry brandy)  ( 1 shot )
  • corn starch  ( 1 tablespoon )
