Sweet Pea Hummus

Lighten up your traditional hummus recipe by adding peas to the mix. Frozen peas are fine to use here—just be sure to add a squeeze of lemon juice to get a taste as vibrant as its color!

  • lemon juice  ( 2-3 tablespoons )
  • chopped garlic  ( 1 teaspoon )
  • olive oil, plus extra  ( 1 tablespoon )
  • lemon zest  ( 2 teaspoons )
  • fresh herbs (like dill, parsley, or basil)–this is optional!  ( 2 tablespoons )
