According to The Bachelor’s Raven Gates, her boyfriend, Adam Gottschalk, is a keeper. And he’s even willing to pay for his mistakes. Literally.

Things are clearly going well for the 26-year-old Arkansas native and her 27-year-old beau, who met and fell in love during season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise. But that doesn’t mean it’s always smooth sailing for these lovebirds. They face some of the same issues that many other couples encounter, including time apart.

Gates has a solution, though. She’s charging Gottschalk for time he doesn’t spend with her — $2 for every day they don’t see each other.

Gottschalk declined her first Venmo request for the money, but she wasn’t about to be denied that easily. In fact, after he refused to pay the first “bill,” she upped the price to more than double the original fee: $5 “for not giving me attention.”

Apparently, the real estate agent felt it was time to pay up and sent through the funds. Gates tweeted a screenshot of the Venmo request with a note saying he’d “paid up” his debt. “Omg 😂😂😂 He loves me lolllllll,” she wrote across the image.

Gates has either started an adorable inside joke or stumbled upon a very lucrative way to make some extra cash.

In fact, it looks like she’s already inspired others.
