What you’ll learn in this class:
- How to transfer your design onto canvas
- How to loop the yarn through the canvas with your hooks
- How to finish your canvas by binding the edges
- How to make a wall hanging out of your woven canvas
In this class, you’ll learn latch hook weaving with expert textile artist Maryanne Moodie. First, you’ll get the creative juices flowing by transferring a design onto canvas, then make it all come together as you learn the moves of working with yarn and hook tools to create the woven art piece.
At the end of this class, you’ll have a 12” square woven canvas, which you can leave as-is to display on your coffee table or bookshelf, or with a few extra steps, learn how to turn the woven canvas into hanging wall art.
