Simone Biles Fully Shut Down a Hater Who Called Her a “Sucky Role Model”
Simone Biles is a gold medal-winning Olympian, former Dancing With the Stars competitor, and all-around awesome woman who brings *so* much joy into our lives… but that’s STILL not enough for some folks. Specifically, one person decided to call Biles “trash” and a “sucky ass role model” for enjoying some time off, and in return was fully shut down by our hero herself.
The 20-year-old has been enjoying some wildly deserved vacation time and thrilling fans with her Instagram posts that show the athlete enjoying life to the fullest (i.e. paddle-boarding, getting in some dreamy beach time, and hanging with friends and family).
This is apparently what prompted one person to try to kill Biles’ happy vibe by saying, “Seems like u have partied non stop for a year #trash #unfollow #suckyassrolemodel”

Biles admitted that these kinds of sentiments *do* in fact bother her, revealing on Twitter, “Comments like this have me shook.” But she had the perfect response: “Talk to me when you train for 14 years and earn 5 Olympic medals. I think kids would say otherwise. My year off is well deserved! Take a couple seats.”
Frankly, someone showing girls and women (and everyone, for that matter) that you can work your butt off, achieve your goals, and also enjoy time off seems like the PERFECT role model to us.
