SpongeBob Fans Can Now Vacation in His Giant Pineapple House
If winter has you planning a last-minute getaway or prompted you to look ahead to a tropical vacayand you happen to also be a lover of cartoons (or just really love staying in super unique places), then we’d like to show you one of the silliest (and surprisingly stylish) suites ever. If you head to the beaches of Uvero Alto in the Dominican Republic and stay at the Nick Resort Punta Cana, you can actually hunker down in an IRL version of SpongeBob’s pineapple house.
While the outside of the pineapple suite is as quirky (and perfect) as you’d imagine — with the fruity shape and bright color — the inside is not at all what you’d expect.
Described as a “designer heaven,” the surprisingly big 1,500-square-foot space is wonderfully chic and super stylish. The two-bedroom suite (ideal for a family) is done up in an underwater theme (natch) that includes adorable touches like an inflatable armchair, a shell phone, a diving helmet TV and a life-size replica of Gary.
As for the rest of the resort, there appears to be plenty to please the SpongeBob fans in your family…
As well as other… fun?
And lots of deliciousness, luxuries and potential for lasting memories…
There’s even a gorgeous spot to tie the knot, if you’ve ever dreamed of getting married by the sea and then honeymooning in an enormous pineapple…
