This Instagram Star Recreated Bey’s CMAs Gown With… Fruit Loops?
Celeb parody accounts (like SMG’s pal and actor Tom Lenk’s) never cease to amaze us with their endless creativity: Remember when this style duo recreated B. Spears’s Glory album cover with little more than TP?
Blowing our minds yet again is rising YouTube and Instagram star Mena Girges, who took his amazeballs recreation of Queen Bey’s CMA Awards dress next level with some SERIOUSLY unexpected materials.
Dubbed the night’s best dressed by Vogue, Beyoncé slayed not only the stage, but the fashion game too, when she appeared like a vision in a floor-length Zuhair Murad frock from the designer’s spring 2016 collection.
But Mina didn’t need lace or embellished applique to recreate the singer’s iconic look. Instead, he simply opened up his cupboards and pulled out — wait for it — Fruit Loops and marshmallows?!
“So I made this Beyoncé dress out of marshmallows and fruit loops,” he says. “Never felt more fierce in my LIFE!”
Uh, we don’t blame you, bae! Just look at that detail! It’s a look we bet even Beyoncé herself would approve of: a masterpiece, to be sure.
Our hats off to you, sir: totally nailed it.
