We’ve come across some pretty sweet jobs lately, like being a mermaid instructor or Royal Caribbean’s “Master Instagrammer.” But if you liked the sound of the position that involves traveling and drinking beer, then you’ll be happy to hear that we have another boozy opportunity that may be right up your alley.
Are you a “Master Sensory Designer and Strategist with a billion dollar nose”… or at least think you might have what it takes to be one? Then Absolut wants you to be their new Manager of Sensory Strategy Design.
So what the heck does that mean? Well, first of all, you have to love vodka. From there, you’ll travel the world tasting cocktails and giving others the benefits of your expertise, as well as helping to develop new products based on popular (and soon-to-be super hot) trends.
The current sensory master, Per Hermansson, is retiring after four decades in the boozy biz and explains, “This is one of the most complex jobs in the business — you need to be equal parts innovator, chemist, teachers, creator, and ambassador. This person not only needs to have the technical skills needed for the job, but a passion for creativity to keep Absolut on the forefront of innovation.”
Check out this overview of Per’s position in this video from Absolut, and if this sounds like the kind of challenge you’re up for, then take a peek at the full job listing and send off your application to firstname.lastname@example.org.
