Pride month may be over, but that doesn’t mean our obsession with rainbows has to be — far from it! Salon owner and makeup artist of 13 years, Angelo Juliano Jusino, shared just the beauty trick with Allure to keep our technicolor dreams alive all summer long, with a multi-color eyeliner technique that’s plenty easy to DIY.

In fact, it’s way easier to achieve than it looks! Jusino spoke to Bustle about how to keep this masterpiece of color in place for longer than a couple hours in the summer heat. “First, I would prime your eye with Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer or Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot ($22) in a soft orchard shade,” he says.

From there, you simply apply layers of shadow with an angled synthetic brush, beginning with blue and working your way through the ROYGBIV color scheme (though you can certainly mix and match color order for varied effects, as well). Allure recommends keeping each line crisp, or, for an alternate look, you can get a bit smudgy. Makeup artist @yuuivision walks us through the process in the video above.

As far as the best kind of rainbow shadows to use, Jusino recommends cream-based palettes, and an angled synthetic brush. “I would personally use my Makeup For Ever Flash Color Palette ($99)… for black eyeliner I would use Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner ($22).”

If you really wanna seal the deal, Jusino suggests using a setting powder and spray like Mac Pro Set Powder ($33) and Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray ($15). No melty faces here!

And, voila! You’re rainbow-liner ready. Easy, peasy, right?
